Understand visitor types
Your visitors on europages are categorized into different groups. This article will briefly explain the types and how you can interpret them.
With a Premium profile on europages, you gain insights into which companies are expressing interest in your business or offerings through the "Your visitors" feature. This allows you to identify new business opportunities and potential leads.
In general, your visitors are categorized based on their activity:
- Profile visitors: Companies that have visited your company profile page - either by finding it on europages or though search engines like Google or Bing.
- Product visitors: Companies that have visited one of your product detail pages via a search result or recommendation on europages or through search engines. The name of the visited product is displayed as a link to the product page on the visitor's activity card but also in the CSV file.
- Search visitors (interested visitors): Companies that have viewed a preview of your company or products on major platform pages and can contact you directly from the preview.
- Visitors searched in related categories: Potential buyers that identified by our algorithm as companies interested in categories related to your product listings.
- Website visitors: Companies that have visited your own website. This visitor information is only available with the additional Website Leads service.
Note: If a company first visits your company profile page and then clicks on one of your product detail pages, both visits will be counted - you’ll see one profile visit and one product visit in your statistics.
