Website Leads installation general
Find out how to integrate the website leads and collect valuable company data in compliance with GDPR.
The key to generating high-quality website leads is the implementation of the so-called pixel code or an identification number on your website. We do not use cookies and analyze only company data. This means that Website Leads is 100% GDPR-compliant.
Step 1: Install Website Leads
There are several ways to install Website Leads:
- Activate our Website Leads template in Google Tag Manager using your identification number.
ODER
- Integrate the pixel code directly into your website by either inserting it in WordPress or embedding it directly into the HTML code of your pages.
You can find the identification number and the pixel code in the Website Leads settings within your visitor list (login required).
Tip: We recommend using the Google Tag Manager.

Step 2: Update your privacy policy
If you want to track the visitors of your website using a Visable Website Leads identification number or pixel code, it is advisable to update your privacy policy in accordance with the GDPR.
Follow these two simple steps:

Copy the privacy policy text (provided in this article) and add it to your privacy page.

Insert the opt-out link into your privacy policy.

Step 3: View potential leads
Once installed successfully, the companies that visited your website will appear in your visitor list. You can view these via your company overview or Business Insights.
